Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had spacious and quiet rooms that showed some signs of wear-and-tear. It was not as clean as I expected and quite cold at 64 degrees upon arrival. The service was courteous and efficient, with staff going out of their way to help. The location was slow for online activities but close to the beach and various attractions. The dining experience was average with limited menu variety, and the additional charge for breakfast was not justified.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. The rooms, while clean and with a comfy bed, appeared to have some past water damage which was a bit concerning. On the bright side, the housekeeping staff was friendly and did a great job. The service was a bit of a rollercoaster - some staff were rude and short, but others were incredibly friendly and even went out of their way to help me. The location was convenient for my needs in the Pascagoula area, but it's a bit secluded from the touristy spots. The dining experience was a bit of hit-and-miss; the breakfast had stocking issues but was overall amazing, albeit a bit overpriced. The hotel facilities were decent, but not exceptional.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, despite appearing old with past water damage, were surprisingly comfortable and clean. The surrounding area was nice and convenient, especially being close to the beach and various activities. The dining options, though extra and lacking variety for kids, were quite amazing. However, the service was a bit rude and dismissive at times, even though the staff at the HGI and the overall friendliness were commendable.
